Crosman ( Who owns the Sheridan and Benjamin line of air guns) Sells the mount you want.See this link http://www.crosman.com/optics/optics-accessories/4-piece-intermount-for-benjamin-sheridan-rifles-and-pistols
I have two answers for you. Crosman air gun owns both Benjamin and Sheridan air guns. See the link below for the date of manufacture. ( not all dates are there) See the second link for the scope mounts. Hint: you may find that the scope is too far forward when you mount it because the loading port is in the way of the mount. I placed both mounts on the front tube of the scope so I could get it back far enough for my eye relief. Both rings are on the mounts in front of the loading port so the scope extends back over the loading port. Both scope rings are attached to the front tube of the scope.
Yes. But it requires a special scope mount from Crosman. ( Crosman owns Benjamin and Sheridan ) ( see the link below )
The Ballistic Enterprises #1 INTEGRABASE, is absolutely the best scope mounting base ever manufactured for the Benjamin and Sheridan air rifles and pistols. It is constructed from aircraft grade aluminum and is CNC Machined on the latest equipment. This scope mounting base mounts the scope with proper eye relief and closer to the bore axis for more comfort and better scope tracking. Available through several major airgun distributors throughout the United States.
Benjamin purchased Sheridan in 1977 and Crosman purchased Benjamin in 1992
One can purchase rifle scope mounts from websites like Optics Planet, Cabelas, Amazon, Scope Mounts, Airgun Depot, eBay, Talley Manufacturing and Jmecks Scope Mounts.
Sometime around 1980. In 1977 Benjamin bought out Sheridan and for a time they merged the names Benjamin/Sheridan.
Originally Sheridan, Benjamin and Crosman were 3 separate companies. Benjamin bought-out Sheridan. A few years later Crosman bought-out Benjamin. Today Crosman owns all 3 companies. In 1975 Crosman started serial numbering Benjamin / Sheridan air rifles. Before that (1975) it is not easy to identify the year the Benjamin or Sheridan's were made.
Here is the link to all of the manuals for Sheridan and Benjamin. Crosman owns Sheridan and Benjamin See the link below.
At one time Benjamin, Sheridan and Crosman were 3 different companies. Benjamin bought out Sheridan and later Crosman bought out Benjamin. So now Crosman owns the rights to all 3 companies. See the link below for your answer.
At one time Sheridan, Benjamin and Crosman were three different air gun companies. Benjamin bought out Sheridan but continued to make rifles under the Sheridan name. A few years later, in the 70's, Crosman bought out Benjamin but kept the name's on the Benjamin and Sheridan models. So Yes Crosman, Benjamin and Sheridan are the same company but non of the models are crossovers. Except one.. Here is an interesting fact. Benjamin makes a model 392 and 397 that look exactly like a Sheridan C9 Blue streak. The only difference is the Benjamin's are made in .22 and .177 caliber and the Sheridan is only made in .20 cal. Just the caliber is different.
Sheridan was very haphazard about numbering and naming there models. In 1977 Benjamin bought the Sheridan line of air guns later Crosman bought both Benjamin and Sheridan. Some models actually say Benjamin Sheridan on the rifle. Sheridan who had been around since 1945 finally started numbering their rifles in 1972.
The value of a benjamin sheridan 392pa 5.5mm 22cal air rifle is $185
