What does informal probation mean?

Simply, It means that you have to stay completely out of trouble until your probation is up. To be more exact, you don't have to report to a probation officer if you're leaving the state or check-in with a probation officer whatsoever. But, if you do get in trouble (depending on what it is) you are potentially looking at a probation violation which could end up in jail time, community service, more probation, ect, ect. Hope this helped, been there before.

Can a felon on probation date a convicted felon?

The answer is no because it clearly states in your condition of probation. I mean if it does not, every case is different, you can always ask your PO (parole/probation officer). the worst they can do is say no then u just do it ANYWAY HOW WILL THEY FIND OUT IF YALL DO NOT GET INTO ANY TROUBLE.

This is a question for the guys assigned Probation Officer. Have him call that officer right away as time is of the utmost importance right now. You have one business day to report it to your PO if you get charged with a new crime or you can get in a lot more trouble.

Is Writing bad checks while on probation violation of probation?

Yes. If you haven't done so already you have to report it to your probation officer because if they don't find out you can get in any more trouble. The rules state that you have one business day to report it to your PO. Usually if you are found innocent they will drop the PV charge but if they are real jerks they could violate you for having the incident. Hope this helps.

Can you still use archery equipment while on felony probation?

That depends on state law, doesn't it? In Georgia it's not a "crime" for a person on probation to have archery equipment, but it MIGHT BE a violation of the terms and conditions of their probation. Just like an adult over 21 drinking beer or hanging around a bar-- it's not illegal, but it probably is a violation of probation that can get the person in trouble with the probation officer and the judge that imposed the probation as part of the sentence. If you're on probation and a term of your probation is "no weapons" then I'd say to stay away from bows and arrows too. They are probably considered weapons even if you only intend to use them for the sport of target practice.
