It us very un-likely. Unless a persons digestive system/stomach is sensitive to salt water, the chances of death are 1 in a million. Perhaps young babies/children could get very sick if they drunk a full glass of salt water. Although, adults too may become sick/feel sick if they have an extremely strong glass of salt water. If you have drunken a full glass of salt water and feel sick, perhaps you should consult your doctor. And perhaps it's best not to do it again.
For wounds yes, Salt Water is good for anything's wounds, people, animals, anything. Noticed how crocodiles and aligators don't get infections often? But if you're talking about drinking then no, drinking too much Salty Water can make anything sick.

Ocean water contains salt. When salt water is in the cell, the body uses its water to dilute the salt. If you drink large amounts of salt water, you won't have any fresh water to replenish the water you lost diluting all that salt.
Yes, everyone can get sick from everything
i believe that a dog drinking from a salt pool could eventually make the dog very poorly, as this could lead to the dog becoming dehydrated. and eventually could get salt poisoning, i personally would encourage the dog to drink fresh water and if it had been drinking salt water syringe water into its mouth to try and dilute down the effects of the salt.
yes...
would you O'D your dog on salt? that would be the effects of your dog drinking sea water your dog needs a balanced diet not one with a high salt content... this can lead to dehydration, blindness convulsions and can kill it will shut the organs of the body down and swell the brain....the list can be endless you only need to lose 4% of your body fluids for dehydration to set in....most dogs will generally be sick from drinking salt water
