Some people are allergic to cat's saliva but generally it is not toxic. Yup, that right! if the cat doesnt have disease that is contagious to humans ( wich is NOT very likeley) you should be fine. my cat licks my food all the time! :)
Hey, I have three cats and they eat any thing and havent got sick. Just don't feed them human chocolates and sweets, what we call junk food. Cos lets face it , their not healthy for people either. My cats though love pasta, rice all kinds of meat, fruits veg. One them even likes pastries. But watch those calories, you don't what kitty gettin stuck in the cat flap.
No you cant. my kitten bites me day and night and I have never gotten sick.
Answer:Yes, assuming your cat doesn't have shots, has some sort of disease, and breaks the skin. These diseases are called zoonotic diseases. They include:
Bacterial Infections:
Parasitic Infections
Fungal Infections
Protozoal Infections
Viral Infections
Its not very healthy because you never know what your cat has ate.
Why can't you lick a cat?
Do it,
tell me how it tastes.
You get a large quantity of fur in your mouth.
I am asking because I kiss my cats nose
My mom made a big bowl of chicken soup and my dad forgot to put the cover on it and the next thing we know, our cat was eating our delicious soup! Me and my family didn't want to take our chances, so we just left it alone!
If it licks it all away from where it needs to be, this can be a problem. I had a cat with a long-term wound which got better soon after switching to another ointment, which tasted bad (unlike the ones it had been on). So if this sounds like your cat, ask your vet if they can prescribe a bad-tasting ointment instead.
Feed it bad food
Three licks would not kill your cat if they are small licks, if it ate too much then it may die yes, if it did eat alot then you should take it to a vet. Otherwise I do not think that three licks would kill your cat no.
get a dog
it is bad
it was probably because it was the wrong brand of cat food for your cats
It depends which kind of oil. Most oils, associated with automobiles or machinery, are harmful to cats. ethylene glycol based engine coolants (antifreezes) have an oily feel, and are toxic to many mammals, including cats, other pets, and even humans.
Chickens cannot vomit - however, if you give a chicken too much cat food, it will make them sick.
yes she is probly dieing... this happened to my cat by a food recall
They are very good friends
Give it food, water, shelter, and love. If it is sick, get it to a veterinarian.
A cat that is sick is called a sick cat
