yes
so far it hasnt hurt mine but if lots of people in your house are on the internet it might be slow
A slow internet connection is what internet package you have. If you have low package then you will expect slow connection when playing on Xbox live. You may find that lag will occur on some games (mostly EA games), this is because there is a high traffic flow on the servers, which sometimes the servers cannot handle it.
ONLY x-box live needs internet
it doesn't necessarily mess it up, it just will slow it down because all of your Internet runs off of one router. if someone is using the net and the xbox at the same time the xbox will start to lag, as well as your Internet.
You need an Xbox, or Xbox 360, and an Internet connection for Xbox Live. No computer required.
because if they didnt 360's internet would be terrible slow and the same for xbox they are simply looking towards the future i understand you distress, but its Microsoft
