Insurance, Motor Vehicle violation, ect) Please note this is NOT ILLEGAL, the law enforcement agency and towing companies/impound lots are well within their rights under the law to make these contacts and furnish this information. It is NOT a private matter, you will have no recourse, the car will be turned over to the leinholder (IE: Bank, Credit Union, Leasing Co) if they pay the towing bill and storage fees.
