If by "pill" you mean hormonal Birth Control pill, then bare in mind that on the pill you do not menstruate at all - the women get during the placebo week of their pills is withdrawal bleed caused by the drop in hormones when going from active to inactive pills, this mimics menstruation but is in no way the same thing.
If you forget to take a pill it is like going onto your inactive pills, the drop in hormones provided by the active pills can cause the uterus lining to shed - thus if you miss a pill you may experience a withdrawal bleed, like a period.

∙ 14y agoYes you should still have a period. The sugar pills are there mostly so that you can stick to the same schedule every day. Also, if you don't start your hormone pills back after so many days (as many days as there are sugar pills) you have a higher chance of releasing an egg and then becoming pregnant next month. If you don't want to take the sugar pills, just make sure that you aren't late starting your next pack of pills! It also doesn't mater if you are still bleeding and it is time to start that next pack, do it anyway. And your period may not always start on the day that you are supposed to take the sugar pills, it can start anywhere within that week, so don't freak out too much if you are a day or so late.

∙ 16y agoYes, the white pills are just like a placebo pill (sugar pill). They don't contain any of the medicine. You need to take them so you can keep track of when to start your next new pack.
