Some bullies have parents who are oblivious to their bullying and think the kids cannot do any wrong. If a conflict comes up, the parents blame the other kid and don't make their own take any responsibility for their actions. The parents might be off drinking or doing shameful things. The bully feels ashamed of their parents and may pick up some of their ways, and they take advantage of the lax discipline and bully. 6. Some bullies are self-hating. Subconsciously, they see themselves as weak and powerless, and they learn to hate those traits in others.
