Answer

Still, you will want to repair cracks or any areas where the floor is not level before putting down the mat and then the floor.

Use Weldwood Contact Cement. Available at most home improvement stores. Use a disposable paint roller to apply to both surfaces. Wait till the glue dries and then stick the two together. BE CAREFUL! Once you stick them together, there is no moving the laminate. Once those two surfaces touch, they are stuck.

Yes you can. It's not easy the first time, and I'd recommend trying a small area like a side counter first. Essentials are to be very careful cutting the new laminate, it's brittle and cracks easily. -Make sure you degrease the old top so adhesive will stick well. - use a good spray contact cement. I use 'Sta-Put' , sold where they sell laminate. Have a helper ready to install the new sheet very carefully -with contact cement you only get one chance. -Good luck.

If you use the proper glue, which is spray on contact cement, you only need to de-grease the original laminate

Yes you can, but it's not a good idea. Click lock is meant to float. If glued down it will eventually warp.
