I asked the same question to my.boat-ed.com and this is what I got: In most cases, states honor other state boating safety education
certificates, if the certification is from a course that is approved by
the National Association of Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA). All of
our courses are NASBLA-approved ( see www.boat-ed.com/index.htm ).
The only exceptions I am aware of are PWC operation in Connecticut, and
Utah. CT, and UT require their own course for PWC operators. If you
already have a certificate from another state that is NASBLA-approved,
you should review the boating laws of the state where you plan to boat
before you go out.
The New Jersey State Police will honor any state issued NASBLA-approved
boating license as long as the license bearer is a resident of the
issuing state. Proof of residence (drivers license or photo id) is
suggested. (Please see < http://www.njsp.org/maritime/faq.html > question
#2).
no
Why would you get ticket for driving wtihout a boating license? Probably the same as the fine for practicing law without a medical license.
Boating is really fun! The best place to go to get started is this fantastic website. This site will give you great information and tips on your new boating experience. The best place to earn your boating license is Safe Boating America! They offer the Captains License (OUPV / Masters) and Satte Boating License in New York (Long Island and elsewhere) New Jersey and Connecticut.
yes but most of the NJ racers come down to greenwood in pa.
No PA does not participate in that program.
No not at all just go to you DMV to get info.
Yes I am sure of it. I got a ticket in NY and lived in NJ at the time. My insurance premium went up.Sorry!Did you have an NJ license.I know NJ issues 2 points for out-of-state tickets while states like NY/PA do not issue points on out-of-state speeding tickets. If you have a NYS license and get a ticket in NJ, neither the conviction nor the points will be reported on your NYS driving record. I think the first person to this question was either confused or didn't read the question properly.QuestionHow about if i have a NJ license and receive a ticket in NY?
As far as I've heard, if you have a license issued in another state, you're good to go.
When you go to the Colorado DMV to apply - you will have to display your PA license. After you have filled out all the paperwork and taken the required tests (if any) you will have to surrender your PA license in order to receive your CO license. CO will automatically take care of notifying PA that your old license is now 'dead.'
i go to NJ in summer fall and winter so probbily yes you need a license
For online details about getting your license in PA, go to: http://www.pested.psu.edu/applicators/cert_brochure.shtml.
I'm geussing that when he was old enough that he decided he would go test for a boating license but he had such little talent that he has never passed and had to keep taking it over and over and over in hopes that one day he will pass
