Every States law is different however you cannot possess two different state's driver's license at the same time. The only license that you need to posses is the one in which you are a permanent resident. Any State license can be used in other states to drive as long as it is valid.

Can you Have a PA Drivers license and a New York ID card at the same time?

Not legally, no. New York and Pennsylvania will only issue drivers licenses or non-drivers licenses to legal residents of their respective states. If you move out of PA, for example, you are no longer eligible for a PA drivers license. If you use a license showing that you live in PA when you actually live in NY, then that is fraud.

If you are going through a DUI in NJ but still have your license at this time will you get in trouble if you go get a California license?

You cannot possess drivers licenses from two states at the same time. There is a national register of drivers licenses, and each state checks that database to be certain that you haven't been licensed before or concurrently.

Is it legal to have a Drivers license in 2 states?

No it is not legal to have two different drivers licenses in 2 different states. Depending on the rule of the state most states demand that you have taken up permanent residency in the state to which you are applying for your driver's license. That having been said, it is impossible to have permanent residence in two places at the same time. Not legal.

If you have a FL license can you drive in MI?

If you have a valid drivers license from one state in the United States it would be honored in all other states in the United States. If you move from one state to another you have a certain amount of time to get a license in the state you will be residing in.

What else can you use as a State ID other than a drivers license. State of Texas?

If you don't have, or do not qualify for, a state drivers license, the state also issues state identification cards. The requirement that you positively identify yourself with verifiable documentation as to who you really are still exists, but it should serve as an alternative picture-ID to the drivers license. As it is in most(all?) other states, you cannot possess BOTH a Texas drivers license and a Texas identification card at the same time - only one or the other.

You just got your license Who can you drive?

Check the drivers license manual! This is something you should have learned when you applied for, or received your license. Some states severely limit juvenile first-time drivers (i.e.- limited hours - no passengers - etc) you wll have to check with your state DMV.

If someone gets a ticket in their first year of their license and gets a license suspension but sends the fifty dollar fee to get their privileges back will they still get their license taken away?

A suspension means you have lost the right to drive, period. Each state in the United States has different rules. In this state, a suspension is for a specific period of time. After that, you need to go to the Drivers License Bureau to apply to get your license back. You should call the proper governmental office to get the answer to your question. In the United States, there are 50 states in the Union. Each state handles Drivers Licenses in its own way. In Canada there are 10 provinces. The same applies.
