11 is a hard age to get a job and be independent because people still think of you as a kid. In New Zealand people that age do paper runs and deliver pamflets. Its a start.

A local Newsagent in Blackburn, those nearest to your house will most likley deliver papers to you, or offer a job doing a paper round.

You could try and get a job in a shop or better still, when your paper gets delivered, look in the jobs section for a paper round job. You can do a paper round ob at the age of 13.

Normally you would need to be 14 and 9 months but I know someone who got a job at the age of 13. It sort of depends where you live.
