You may have emulation software open. Check for open programs such as CloneCD, Daemon Tools, Nero etc.
If you have them open, close them down. Then try again.
If this still doesn't fix the problem, then it is an issue for EA support. Look for a link to this in the Related Links section. You will have to create an EA account, if you don't already have one.
You need to disable CD/DVDRom emulators before running the game. Programs such as Daemon tools, Alcohol 120%, as well as many others have been abused for illegal software copying, so some games will search for and detect this software and refuse to run if it finds it, to prevent it's piracy.
There is no software which will convert a PS2 Game Disc into a PC game Disc. PS2 emulation could allow a PC to play a PS2 game if you could find and download a reliable emulation
This is usually caused by attempting to run a pirated ISO image of a game in a CD emulator like Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools. This can be fixed by purchasing a legitimate copy of the game.
Not without extra software - Xbox games can only be played on an Xbox without it. The legality of such Xbox emulation software is questionable, but as long as you own the game and are using the actual game disc and not a copy, you are probably ok.
Clash of clans is not officially available for Mac. That said, there are some reports of the game being used on Mac through the use of some types of emulation software.
No because the old game boy and game boy color games wont stick in to the bottom slot because i tried and i wont even budge into the thing sorry (another answer) ;-)
The first 60 GB model had hardware based PS2 emulation and the second model had partially software based PS2 emulation. The reason might have been because they had only a few PS3 game titles in the beginning of the PS3 history and needed more games to complete with the Xbox 360.
On the original hardware, you can't. But through emulation, you can.
No that was one of the many reasons the Backward Compatible PS3s are no longer made. Older PS3 Models with 4 USB ports will play PS2 games as seen on related PlayStation network link. The first models also had hardware emulation and were the best at playing PS2 games, later models had partially based software emulation. All PS3 models with only 2 USB ports can not play PS2 games and there are no updates, downloads or additional hardware or cables that will allow them to play PS2 games. All models of PS3 can play PS1 games with software emulation.
It's called an emulation program and they are different ones to chose from for the Playstation and some are free. see related link for the list under List of video game console emulators
The PC does not have the software to play a PS2 game and you need to not only download an emulation program like PCSX2, but you need a copy of the PS2 Bios from your PS2
no the game engine software the game
