You can help a gecko be able to shed its skin well by keeping the correct humidity in the cage, which entirely depends on which kind of gecko you have. You can keep the humidity in the tank higher by misting the tank with a spray bottle every day. This should help it have better sheds. Never pull any hanging skin off yourself, the gecko will rub up against things to do this. Also, you can soak it in a little tub or container of room temperature water, just enough for it to be able to comfortably sit in with the water coming about up to its chest.
You shouldn't do this if this if isn't desperate. Not that it's cruel, just not natural. if your gecko sheds AND is desperate then here's what you do;
Get a Q-tip and GENTLY RUB THE OLD SKIN off, if it's not gentle, you could rip one of his body parts off!!!!!! I tried this to my gecko, and it works but it sure does take a long time. So with this 'operation', you'll need lots and lots of patience!
no
Yes they will - They will shed usually at least once every year. The younger the Gecko is - the more often it will shed.
Because they shed
yes, they do. Luckily, unlike a snake, they don't leave their shed behind for you to clean up. They eat it! A gecko that is shedding is very cool looking and something that a first-time gecko owner does not want to miss.
A leopard gecko should not ever "loose" its nails. The animals shed their skin but nothing else. If your leopard gecko has lost fingertips, this is more than likely due to the animal having an irregular shed. Every leopard gecko setup must have a humid hide for this reason. If a shed is stuck on the limbs of a gecko, the dead skin will start to cut the circulation off to the finger/toe tips.
No, they shed their skin as they grow... ..That would be depressing if they did...XD
The younger the gecko, the more often it sheds, but adult geckos will normally shed about once a month. my gecko is a baby and it is shedding again sense 2 weeks and the babies shed more which is a good thing because its growing, but the adults dont shed much because they cant grow anymore.
because it sheds of to make new skin for the winter time
if it was just hatched then probably 2 or 3 months. after that it will shed about 1 time a month. You may not know it sheded the night before because a lot of leo's will eat their shedding. Mine does :)
Gecko doesn't help to cure AIDS.
kill it. it is a member of the rebel alliance and a traitor to the confederacy

Let the skin shed on its own. The new skin has to form completely so the shedding may progress in stages. After shedding, the gecko will normally eat its skin to recover the remaining proteins.
