I am assuming you mean can you dose or treat the water in an aquarium for Itch or white spot while a fish is spawning. I personally don't like or recommend using any kind of chemicals in a fish tank. If the fish does have Itch/white spot then I would use the raised temp method of destroying the infection.
In addition, as it would not allow me to type any further, eggs have been laid by the female salvini central America cichlid, but as stated no male exists in tank of that area, other tank mates include mouthbrooders such as frontosa, peacock cichlids, and mbuna's all from south Africa, so I am curious if there is any possiblity that these eggs are fertile, as I have many breeding pair, but the female that has laid these eggs is the only egg layer in the tank and has no mate of same genre, any ideas if eggs could be fertilized by a mouthbrooding cichlid such as the tankmates from south Africa?
The egg-laying tube on a female cricket is called an ovipositor.
a mature, egg-laying bird, or bird of egg-laying age that is temporarily not laying eggs; in most cases a female bird more than 5 months old. An adult, female bird.
Depends on the fish. If its a Goldfish, Zebra Danio, cichlid, betta or others like them then yes, but mollies, platys, Guppies, and many others are live bearers and the fry are born free swimming. meaning that A) you can actually see them and they look like fish, and B) they are born able to swim freely.
ovipositor
2 minutes
there is no male to get them pregnate
Guppies, mollies and platys become pregnant and give birth to their young, live, instead of laying eggs.
When the female stops laying eggs and the male stops fertilizing them.

Male platypuses do not have babies.Only the female can have young, and she does so by laying eggs. Platypuses are monotremes, or egg-laying mammals.
