You can import whatever you like. Although standard motor oil in Mexico is 20w-50 and its very hard to find a US oil or a synthetic. I drove through the whole country last year and was forced to buy 1 quart of Castrol Syntec 5w-30 at a cost of $175.00mn, or about 16.50 at the time. Mexican motor oil is not good for most modern cars, or cars in general...
