Absolutely. Dual boot is a very popular deployment for Linux. And some people even completely remove Windows and just have Linux.
Windows, to the PC, is just another operating system. It has to follow the same rules to the computer as any other OS, including the fact that the system is never hardcoded for an operating system.

∙ 10y agoBy partitioning space for Linux and installing it there, and usually let Linux install its own bootloader. Don't worry, virtually every Linux distribution's bootloader can find Windows fine, but Windows' boot loader won't go the other way.

Do you have to install Windows Vista?
No, you do not have. There are some computer which can use vista only (dell and others). But you still can find drivers for such computers on different websites and install, for instance, linux.

The only way I know is to install a Linux OS on the PS3. Linux is like Windows or Mac, but is completely free. With Linux installed you can use your PS3 like a computer and also use firefox.
