Yes. It has happened on more than one occassion. Though your quality of life might never be the same. There is a big difference between "living" and being "alive" if you get my drift. If you receive immediate medical attention and the bullet left a lot of your vital organs intact - you have a good chance of survival with our current level of surgical technology.

If they are normal, they would be the same as if the wound was not there at all. But there is nothing that would be normal with gunshot wound. It would depend on where the wound is and how much blood is lost.
