- Yes, you can live longer by having less physically demanding jobs and showing human emotions. For exaqmple the suicide rate in Japan alone is extremely high because the employees are expected to work at their highest peek and even though they have exercises to do at work this does not help the stress or the suicide rate from going down and Westernized countries should learn from this. It is extremely important for an individual to look at their lifestyle; head space for themselves to see how much time they spend at work above their normal eight hour day; is there enough quality time for family; children and socializing. If not, then the individual needs to find a way to downsize this. If they don't and they are asking themselves the question above then they already know the answer. Without emotions a person internalizes stressful situations and it can come out in other ways such as anger outbursts; drugs (including alcohol addiction); aches and pains; upset stomachs and general poor health. It can also shorten a person's life span.
