Yes you can, but don't expect much. Even if you have a blast freezer (which most homes don't even have room for), it's very hard to prevent crystal formation in the cells. When the meat defrosts, the crytsals melt, leaving a pierced cell membrane. This drains liquid from the meat and increase the ease with which it can become invected. Marine arthropods, with their high fat content (compared to other aquatic species) infect very quickly. Personally, I'd keep it and use it refrigerated and what I couldn't use in a safe period of time, I'd discard.

Yes it can be frozen. I help operate a very successful seafood market in wilm nc and I am not sure exactly how long it can be frozen for before it goes bad but I am %100 sure that it can be frozen!

Depends how fresh the crab was before it was frozen. Stir it about and smell it to check if it is ok. If it smells bad, dont eat it! You will be able to tell if it smells bad, trust me.

3 Days is a long time though, I would probably say no! throw it away.

Unless you meant if you can freeze a cold crab dip for three days then take it out of the freezer. In which case...

You absolutely can freeze a cold crab dip. Make sure you take it out of the freezer the night before serving and let it thaw out in the refridgerator.
