Yes you can fry in olive oil, but you must take care as olive oil burns a lot easier than vegetable or sunflower oil. you must not use extra virgin olive oil for frying or cooking as it burns far too fast and will turn into bad fats, keep extra virgin olive oil for salad dressings or coating potatoes, vegetables or pasta for an extra yummy taste before serving.

You can use it but I recommend sunflower.
