You cannot mix goldfish and bettas. Personalities aside, Goldfish are coldwater fish and Bettas are tropical. I have also heard that once the goldfish get bigger, which they will fast, they will eat the bettas

yes but the downfall that i founf is that the betta will make the other fish get ick and get a green film on them which is hard to get rid of. a betta is fine all by its self in a coffee cup with water (or something small)

The first rule of fish keeping is "1 inch of fish needs a minimum of 1 gallon of water" Your 'bowl' is not big enough to keep one fish healthy let alone two and a Betta. Goldfish are coldwater fish and need temperatures around 55F. Bettas are tropical fish and need temperatures around 80F so you can see that they should not be kept together anyway.Simple answer is NO. They need totally different living conditions. 1 Betta needs a 5 gallon (nominal) tank. Two goldfish need a 25 gallon tank.

The male will build a bubble nest and try to spawn the female and during the courting time he will drive off any other occupants of the tank and kill them if they can not escape (hide successfully). In other words you can not keep a male Betta with another Betta (male or female) without trouble. The Tetras will be perfectly OK with a Betta female OR a Betta male. Not the two (pair) that you are proposing. The general rule that all experienced and successfull aquarists live by is a fish needs 1 gallon of water per inch of body length. Work it out.
