i dont know whether this has been confirmed but i read that if you talk to an animal in the city around 10 times they will move to your town. Its never worked for me though :)
i think so because some animals that i saw in the city are in my town now...maybe they are identical but im pretty sure that i saw one in the city!

∙ 12y agoYes you can. If you have a friend with Animal Crossing and you go and visit their town and meet one of the animals that live there there is a 90% chance that when the move they will move to your town. You may need to visit the animal and talk with them more than once.

When I try to move my ds Animal Crossing wild world to the wii Animal Crossing city folk it says you have the wrong game card both the wii and the ds games are legit?
It isn't possible to move your character from animal crossing wild world to animal crossing city folk. The only type of connection between ds' and wiis is that you can download your town to a ds and then un-download it to another city folk game to visit another friends town. You cannot connect the ds game to the wii game whatsoever.
