If you have ever been convicted and served time, you cannot own a firearm. Double check, I could be wrong. Google your question. I am a felon and will go to federal prison if I have a firearm.

Can i own a gun in Florida with a non conviction felony?

(note I am not a lawyer) You can not own a firearm in Florida with a felony on your record, however if it is a non-conviction, and is your only offense, you may be able to get a lawyer to seal/expunge your record and get your rights restored. This does cost between $600 and $2000 depending on complexity of the case.

Can you purchase a hand gun with a felony record?

If you have been convicted of a felony, Federal law will not permit you to possess ANY firearm. Under some circumstances, a person that has been convicted of a felony under STATE laws may have their firearms rights restored. You need to consult an attorney. Unless that has been done, possession of a firearm by a felon is a serious Federal crime.

If you were a juvenile delinquent would you be able to purchase a firearm legally?

That depends. In the US, persons that have been convicted of a felony (serious crime such as murder, robbery, rape, grand larceny) loss their right to possess a firearm. In the case of a juvenile, tried as an adult, the same law applies. If a juvenile is tried as a juvenile, and is found "not innocent" of a crime that would be a felony for an adult, then they are also prohibited from possessing a firearm. Example- 15 year old commits an armed robbery, is arrested, tried as a juvenile, is found "not innocent" of armed robbery= now prohibited from possessing any firearm. The same 15 year old is arrested for shoplifting a $15 CD, and is found "not innocent" of petty theft MAY possess a firearm once they become an adult,

Can you buy a handgun in NJ if you have been arrested?

It depends on why you were arrested. More specifically, it depends on whether you were convicted of a crime, and what you were convicted of. Most misdemeanors will not disqualify you from owning a firearm, but any any felony will.
