Your laptop may not reach the sims 2 Requirements to play the game.

Usually no if you bought a game specifically for a Mac it won't work on a PC unless the back says you can use it on a PC

the computer
You install it and play it.
I have vista. I play the sims 2, it's great. Depends on your computer specs.
yes
No
Well you should be able to. You need the original sims 2 first to play, so i am guessing if the sims 2 game works on your computer, you should be able to play the sims 2 open for business. But before you go and buy it, I would make sure that you have enough space and stuff to play, just in case your computer can't take sims 2 the expansion packs and mess up your computer. Because the Sims 2 and all the exampion packs are very heavy on computers.
No, only on the computer you need both
Yes it can!
People play the Sims ALOT! It's the most popular PC game :] :] I know that I play 24/7 LITERALLY :O Yer if i was on the computer i would audomaticly put the Sims 2 on when ever i went on the computer
If there is a fake Sims game on the Internet then yes. But if you mean actual copyrighted Sims computer game, then you have to go through installation. But if you want to play on something besides computer, like X-Box, then just pop it in and you can play.
