If the glass is warm then you can, however when I put boiling water into a cold glass it smashed so ...
Yes you can put boiling water into a glass, just not a cold one (Y) Yes... but if the room (and the glass) is cold, expect bad results... You might get lucky though... When I have a cold, I mix the cold medicine with hot water in a glass, and only once in my life has the glass ever smashed in those circumstances... I rarely put hot water into glasses otherwise...
Generally , no , if you are talking about crystal ware , it was not designed for use with hot water , the shock of a fast temperature change will most likely crack it , that is why Pyrex was invented.
This depends on the thermal resistance of the glass; common glass is not suitable.
Duran and Pyrex glasses (borosilicate glasses) are convenient.
Boiling water breaks glass because the heat has no where to escape to. It heats up to boiling point which makes the glass crack and eventually shatter :) xx
Unless the bowl is specially made for using on a hot burner, no. Doing so could cause the glass to shatter; you could get cut and burned by the hot food splattering.
no because the bowl will melt if it is plastic
Boiling. Just as cracking is a type of breaking, kettle is a type of device used for boiling water or other liquid.
the water evaporates leaving salt crystal
3cups sugar for 1 cup water Ps the water has to be boiling
Crystal meth does not melt in water,It dissolves in water without needing to be heated.Crystal meth is highly souble in water ,therefore it will dissolve in water without heat.
Water without NaCl.
yes
It is supposed to stop the shell from cracking...it sometimes works sometimes it doesn't,depends how hard you drop your eggs in the pan.
No. Salt makes the freezing point of water lower and the boiling point higher. The particles of salt get in the way of crystal formation when freezing. They also get in the way of particles trying to escape when boiling.
highest possible temperature for the water, without boiling
jelly crystals make jelly!! you buy a box at the supermarket mix with boiling water refrigerate and bam jelly
No. Poaching an egg is basically boiling an egg w/o its shell by carefully cracking the egg and tipping it into hot water.
Impossible to answer without knowing the concentrations of the sugar and salt water.
