Yes, you can but I would highly recommend against it. You would have to get it up to around 30 mph before the engine would turn over. Modern sophisticated transmissions are very expensive to repair so this is something I have done in the past but would not do today. Not worth risking damage to the transmission which probably would not happen but could. Just jump start the vehicle.

How can you make a car without a battery move?

If your car has a battery and it's dead, you can call a friend who has some jumper cables. You can hook the jumper cables up to his battery and your car's battery. It should create electricity that will renew your battery. If your car does not have a battery, you would have to push it or get it towed.

Can you bump start a car with a dead battery?

Do you mean "jump start"? If so, yes- it requires a car with a good battery, and a set of jumper cables- connected the RIGHT way between the two vehicles. With older vehicle, it was possible to "push start" the car with the dead battery- but with modern electronics, and a completely dead battery, will not work.

How do you get out of park when have a flat battery - automatic?

If your battery is dead then you are going nowhere therefore why would you need to take the car out of park? Get a jump start from another car with a good battery and then you can start your car and drive to the nearest battery dealer and buy a new battery if need be. Otherwise just put a battery charger on your battery and let it fully charge.

How long should it take to charge a car battery using 6ampheres?

Depends on how low of charge the battery is. I would guess around 6 hours on a dead battery. I suggest you use an automatic charger so you do not have to guess.

no because if the car is dead it will not run up

Can you charge a dead battery by getting a second car that is running take the good battery out of the running car and put the dead battery into the running car as a means of charging it?

No, this will place a very heavy load on the alternator of the car and may result in burning out the diodes of the car charging the battery. You could easily ruin the alternator. Purchase a battery charger and charge the dead battery with that. Alternators are not made to charge dead batteries.

How do you start your car with a dead battery?

Get a donor car and use it's battery to start your car. You will need a set of quality jumper cables. Or you can charge the dead battery on the car for about 2 hours with a good 10 amp battery charger.
