Yes, as long as the hard drive is big enough. Several Aspire One models come with Windows XP, in fact.
You can, but why use limewire? Its crap and watched by the FBI.
In my opinion, yes. But to make sure download the 7 upgrade advisor tool.
no you have to buy a in jack mic card to put in the laptop
As the machine ships with Vista it should be able to install Win 7. The usual warnings about creating backups of all the data you cannot possibly loose still aplly.
As far as they are both of same physical size and share interface. Also your laptop hardware must support the capacity too.
http://www.insidemylaptop.com/clean-cooling-module-acer-aspire-3620/ No explicit instructions on removing the fan, but it will help you get it open all the way to the fan. Also, you'll probably find the heatsink fins are incredibly dusty and perhaps contributing to the overheating that's prompting you to change the fan.
yes but it will be really slow due to your pc.You should get a better graphics card or put the resolution and quality very low to make it run faster
the sims 3 is dificult to run for an aspire 1 acer because when i clicked play game it made a funny error noise and said that thair is no graphic video card adapter suported this proggramme will now teminate. i was reading one answer sayin that it works on an apple laptop but it is expensive and it is not worth it just to play a game. but i am trying to put windows xp sp2 on because it says on the sims 3 case that xp requires sp2 and vista requires sp1 its realy strange because the acer aspire 1 has all the requirements to play the game . its all worthless to go to all that trouble just to play a game.
No, the acer netbook is too small
i just got my aspire one netbook for Christmas and i can not put a wallpaper on it so i looked it up and i heard that you have to download the windows 7 home edition for $80. the computer comes with windows7 starter edition and in order to get a wallpaper and other cool features u need to get the windows7 home edition. i also can not get on webkinz because it only shows half the screen but dont worry it is not ur computer messing up it is just because the site does not have a scroll bar.
If your talking about the product key, then just go to MY COMPUTER, rt click, click on properties, at the bottom of the page you will see windows activation, to the right it says, Change product key, click on this. A little clue, if you are going to put in an OEM key, you better reinstall and format the drive because the system MIGHT not take the key when it was already activated and then you put in an OEM key, you could get flagged as a pirated copy. If you do this, just save everything you want, reinstall and add the key when windows asks.
http://www.crucial.com/ The website above has a way to find out what RAM your laptop needs. According to the site an Acer 3053WXCi needs DDR PC4200 or DDR PC5300
