yes
Yes. It would do a good job.
Strainers block small craft in rivers.
400 is a fine engine, but you didn't say what the factory specs were, or it's original use, so I can't tell you what HP it could be, this is because that particular engine can be altered to say pull a boat, like in a truck use, or as a screamin de-stroke, 383, which is a fine street powerplant.
The starter in a boat is sealed so that it can't ignite an explosion of fumes in the bilge. You could put a boat starter in a car, but it would be very dangerous to put a car starter in a boat.
Outboard motor.
The transom is the stern of a boat or ship. On a small boat the outboard engine is clamped to the transom.
Marine, although I don't know if it is Marine exclusively. I only know because it's the one in my boat. :)
A V-type engine is lower and shorter--attributes that are important in a marine environment, as it allows the engine compartment to take up less space on the boat's deck. It's also wider. In a boat that's not a big problem; the engine compartment goes all the way across the boat so, within reason, you can put as wide an engine as you want in there. But on a truck, you're limited as to the width you can have--you've got to be able to get the steering shaft past the engine, for one thing. An engine that's longer, taller and narrower is better in a truck.
can you pull a 36 foot house boat with a pickup truck
Use it to anchor your boat. That motor was such a mistake, I do not even think they make parts for it.
truck battery Check the specifications on the winch to find its voltage and amperage.
you need to give more info!!..example what are you going to do with the 460?..race it?..pull a boat?..ton truck??
