yes all sbc manifolds will fit, when you get to cyl heads then you will have trouble since most aftermarket are for 350 bore which is larger
yes
No. That would usually be a 283, 307, or 327.
35 ft. lbs.
On a small block Chevy the distributor goes through a hole in the intake manifold. On a Pontiac the distributor goes behind the intake manifold.
how to install the oil pressure gauge on a Chevy 350 small block
the temp of the intake manifold is controlled by the temp of the water in the block.
yes it will fit but you will have to change the intake manifold to the 1998 style.
A 283 doesn't have a harmonic balancer, so that's a quick way to tell right away. Also, 283's don't have accessory bolt holes on the ends of the heads. The valve covers on a 283 don't have a filler cap. Oil is added through a long tube sticking out of the intake manifold.
no, the bolt pattern on the small block Chevy intake manifold changed in '87 to the vortec head design, but if it doesnt have the centerbolt valve covers, then it will.
it could be a head leaking or the intake manifold, if its coming from the very top its most likely the intake manifold gasket
