Most likely it is a 4L60-E 4spd automatic which is nothing more than a Turbo-700R4 w/ all the fun electrical components
A 93 should be a hydraulic clutch 4spd or 5spd unfortunatley adjusting it usually meens that it's slipping, so if its not the hydraulic fluid the only way to adjust it is to crimp the relay bushing (looks like a Chinese finger trap) up to the next peg, this will only buy you a month of carefull shifting. Best bet is to just buy a replacement its about $90-$130 for a reliable system.

The 4t60e is a 4speed Transverse 60 (rating) and E for electronically controlled transmission used in front wheel drive cars. The 4L60e is a 4spd Longitudinal 60 (rating) and E for electronically controlled. If your vehicle is rear wheel drive or 4wheel drive it would have the 4l60e.
