Interesting question, and I give you credit for your creativity, but no. Consider the overall sizes of the pickup's engine compartment vs. the geo's. A Cummins would be more likely as you'd be going inline-3 to inline-6 vs. I3 to V8, but you've still got the transaxle issue & inadequate space underhood. That & you'd probably destroy the the front drive axles with 600+ ft.lbs. of torque at your disposal. Plus neither the suspension nor chassis would be adequate to support the weight.
Yes you can. All Geo Metro engines are compatible from 1989 - 1997. Just make sure that they both have the same transmission or you'll have to do a lengthy and expensive conversion.
well i have a geo metro and i have a 3 cil in mine but they put a 4 cil in the 90s The Geo Metro is made by Suzuki. The Geo Prizm is made by Toyota and is built in California on the Corolla chassis. The 1992 Geo Prizm has a Toyota 1.6 Liter 4 cylinder. Base engine is 102 H.P. GSi engine is the same 1.6 but with 130 H.P.
Sure will. Any Metro motor from 1989-1997 will fit in it assuming that they are of equal size (ie) 3 cylinder 1.0L to 3 cylinder 1.0L. You can put a bigger engine like a 1.3L from a Swift in it but it requires a bit of tweaking.
Unleaded 86
The type of oil that should be put into a 1995 Geo Metro is 5 W 30. The car uses approximately 5 quarts of oil.
If the engines are the same size then yes (ie) 3 cylinder 1.0L to 3 cylinder 1.0L.
Begin by loosening the motor mount retaining bolt in your 1993 Geo Metro. Jack the engine up a few inches. Remove the retaining bolt and the motor mount bushing. Put the new bushing in and reverse the process.
Geo Metro Compact
just put in some new AA batteries. if that dont work you should try craig's list
Should be a reservoir on the firewall driver's side
I Have a geo 3 silinder I usually put 3 quarters and chech the dip stick and ad litle more acordingly with the dip stick reader
Yes you can put AC in a Metro but I don't recommend it. My Metro has AC but if you do put it in it will slow your car down horridly and it will cause your high MPG Metro to drop down to that of a normal car. So it's sort of a comfort vs practicality debate :)
