As far as bolt patterns go, I believe the Eaton M90 roots-style supercharger will fit. However, in order to operate properly, I believe a lot of electrical retrofitting would be necessary. The largest concern, however, is that the 4T65E transmission in the GT would not be able to safely handle the power and torque that GTP produces. The GTP is equipped with the 4T65E-HD "heavy duty" transmission, which is capable of handling more power, i.e. supercharger. Applying the supercharger to the GT is probably more trouble than it is worth, and I would not recommend the application unless all the parts are in front of you and readily accessible, and you are willing to deal with any possible headaches that come along with this process. Hope this helps though!
It can be done but you need to transfer parts from the L67/L32 ( GTP ) to your GT. Off the top of my head you will need to transfer the Lower Intake Manifold, Heads, PCM, Upper Intake Manifold ( Supercharger ), some pulleys, and some other things. Go to zzperformance.com and you can buy a kit.
Yes
where do you live, would you be willing to sell your gtp? i have a 97 that is wrecked and ive been looking for one to put the engine in. please email me at heather.walden@okstate.edu. please no other emails
This whinning noise is completely normal. This sound is produced by the supercharger when it is producing boost. I have a 2003 gtp and it does the same as well as any other supercharged engine. Suggestion from 00gtp Put a K&N cold air intake on and everyone will hear the whine. Sounds cool and it really makes people look.
Yes you can, but you will need some things Here is a list GTP Supercharger w/ bolts and pulley GTP Throttle body GTP Fuel Injectors GTP Lower Intake Manifold GTP Cylinder Heads w/ valve covers Passenger motor mount GTP Harmonic Ballencer GTP supercharger belt tensioner and idler pulleys GTP MAP sensor GTP Vacuum lines Head Gasket set Head Bolt Set Lower Intake Manifold Gasket GTP Valve Cover Gaskets Supercharger gasket and coolent O Rings Throttle Body Gasket MAP/BBV harness adaptors PCM Tune In my opinion, you would be WAY better off just buying an L67 engine. I have seen those on craigslist from $200 to $500. Ya it will be a little bit more frustrating, but so will putting and replacing parts from a gtp onto your gt. But good luck though :)
Yes.
Do not get a "superchip". they are a waste of money. buy a tuned pcm from zzp, dhp, overkill etc. Alot more bang for your buck!
Yes, but if you have a HUD ( Heads up Display ) then you need to make sure the transfer windshield car had a HUD, also.
on a 2001 grand prix the low pressure value to add freon is on the back of motor close to the firewall . if u look straight to the firewall there is a loop and black cap. there is where u connect the hose. and the high pressure line is underneath the airintake box that has black cap.
put a socket on the tensioner pulley and pull on it until there is slack then just slip it off.
Yes, they'll work because both cars use the same wires.AnswerIf you put cups in them and push hard, they should fit.
not sure if they had CD players or not but you can go to any car stereo shop and they have a module to hookup the steering controls to any stereo that you put in
What happens when you put windshield washer in the coolant in a Grand prix Pontiac
