Unfortunately, that would be a big fat NO, and I wish I'd googled this question about 15 minutes ago. I was roasting turkey and vegetables for stock, and decided to go from the oven to the stovetop... now I just have a mess. :(
yes actually they can but they say your not supposed to put them in the oven cause they really weren't built to handle that heat of and oven!
Yes but it will most likely break and everything will spill. But you can use it in an owen, as long as when removing from the heat place it on a dry wooden surface.
No, the crock pot liner is designed for much lower heat than a stove top. It could be very dangerous to misuse it that way.
Use a dutch oven in the oven and you would get the same result, it would heat all around like the slow cooker. Use it on top of the stove and it's only hot on the bottom and would tend to stick and scorch. Also, the slow cooker is not going to heat up the kitchen like using the oven will.
The grill emblem usually has triangles (pointing down) on the top edge of the inside of the grill. The oven emblem does not have triangles inside the area that the oven door would be.
Usually the middle shelf of the oven so the air can circulate around
Could be anything, but my top five are the Microwave Oven, the can opener, the Toaster, the Pressure cooker and a food processor.
Ingredients1 1/2 pound pork ribs1 cn carrots1 teaspoon garlic, pressed1/4 teaspoon pepper1 bar-b-q saucePut ribs in crockpot. Drain carrots and put on top of ribs. Add spices and pour bar-b-q sauce on top. Set crockpot on low setting and let cook all day.
bake what on the top shelf???????of the what ???the oven? if it is the oven and you are cooking something that takes a long time.... then put it on the top shelf!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You cook staple foods in many ways. You can use the stove top, microwave, and special appliances such as a toaster, toaster oven, or slow cooker.
Find a ceramic container which will fit in the pressure cooker. Cut up 1 bramley apple and put the slices in the ceramic container with one ounce of sugar and some mixed spice. Mix 4 ounces of plain flour, 2 ounces of sugar and 2 ounces of margarine and put these on top of the apple. Put a trivet and half an inch of water in the pressure cooker. Cover the ceramic container so the top of the pressure cooker lid doesn't drip into the crumble. Put the pressure cooker lid on. Bring up to high pressure for 45 minutes. Turn off heat, allow to cool slowly to release pressure. Serves one or two people
One-dish meals can be prepared in many ways. For example, in the microwave, an oven, a slow-cooker, on top of the stove, or a roaster.
A Mixer
my slow cooker top wont come off after cooking and letting it cool
Yes you can. It would be similar to cooking it in a crockpot. Just remember to include some water or broth in the bottom of the pan if it is a whole chicken. If just pieces, you can use a little oil.
