no you cant put the baby's in with the dad.Well you cant touch them or he will eat them
No, do not do that, it will kill the babies and distress the mother hamster. The babies will be born when they are ready. If you think there is something wrong with your hamster please take it to see an animal doctor (A Vet) to get it help.
Do not put the male around the female! Some male hamsters eat the babies, I'm not kidding.
You haev to put plenty of food and water for the mother and babies. Just try to put it as far from the babies/nest as possible, and do it as fast as you can.
Yes- she obviously feels this is the safest place for her and her babies in the cage and would not put her babies in danger
You can put two Dwarf Hamsters together but if you put a male and a female together they most likely have babies. You can put a male Dwarf Hamster and a male Dwarf Hamster together and you can put a female Dwarf Hamster with a femaleDwarf Hamster. Just make sure the two hamsters don't fight.
Ok this is what you do. Wash your hands really good. Then put on some gloves and remove the dead hamster. Put it in a bag and throw it away. You do this so the mother hamster doesn't smell your scent because if you touch another baby with your hand she will eat her babies. Hopes this helps.
hold a sunflower seed or whatever it likes to eat, then draw the item away from the cage then put the baby hamster in a box that is warm. It their new born don't clean the cage! Me and my dad had a panda bear hamster that had babies and we moved them and the mom got mad so ran away and the babies died! BECARFL! or you could gently scup them up with a cup
Yes, but be aware that they will breed again and the female will become pregnant.
A hamster can have babies by (being a boy\girl) placing another hamster of the opposite sex into the same cage. This might also result in them fighting, which in that case.....you can either put up with them and assume the feeling is mutual, or you can remove the female\male from the cage. Make sure if the female does get impregnated that she stays healthy, watered, and well-fed, and when she gives birth to her hamster babies she doesn't eat them (which hamsters WILL do.) You're welcome! P.S. If this isn't what you meant by "How can your hamster have babies?" then please feel free to point this out.
Once the babies have become independent and are not feeding off the mother. If you handle the babies or put your scent in the cage before this time, the mother will eat the babies.
Seperate the male. You remove the male hamster from the female when she is about to have the babies to prevent it from killing them. When they are weened and big enough to defend themselves the male can be put back, but it would be best not to have too many all together as they may fight.
I wouldn't because the male is not a fan of the babies until about 3 months old. I breed them .
