don't waste your money! this question was not answered when i looked this up, so i was the guenie pig. the ring keeps leaking and i couldn't find the hole so thought i would try fix a flat, but that did not work
no fix a flat hardens and clogs the hole in the tire,, it would do no good for that
No, because Fix-a-flat has to rotate around the inner tire and coat everything, or else it all just sinks to the bottom, as it would in a pool.
To fix a detached vinyl liner from its spot on an above ground pool, the water will have to be drained from the pool. Then, a marine patch can be placed on the area to re-attach the vinyl to the place where it came apart. Allow this to dry thoroughly before refilling the pool.
You can't ... since the above ground pool is made of vinyl material, you need to apply a vinyl patch. Has to be a like material to be compatible.
no
you can't just get a new one.
I may be able to help you with your pool. I have 25 years exp. with vinyl liners. Please feel free to contact me via my measage board if you still need help.
I work in the pool industry and can tell you it is NOT a good idea to use fix a leak. 98% of the time it does not work and it won't hold. Its a waste of time and money. This esp won't work on holes in vinyl. I had one contractor who tried this, after 7 unsuccessful attempts carefully following directions (with the expense for man hours and clean up), he quit.
Not if it is a vinyl liner pool. You have to fix the leaks. The walls will collapse and you will have to get a new pool. Fill it back up and call American leak detection or another company. I recommend them because they will come out and fix it until it is repaired. If you don't, you will probably have to pay for a brand new pool essentially. I didn't get my pool closed until the second week of october because of this. Finally they fixed it and I closed it.
is the patch on the side wall? most likely the wall is rusting.. not a HUGE concern but when and if u have the liner replaced i would deff have it looked at... not usually a hard to fix problem
You can fix a balloon type pool with a patch. Most of these pools come with a patch. If not, you can purchase one at a pool outlet. All you have to do is put some glue on one side of the patch and attach it to the pool. Press hard and allow the patch to dry.
No, not if its cracked.. Time to replace and maintain better chemical balance..
NO, NO , NO Donot let that animal in the water. My kids let the Bulldog in the water they had a great time but the nails when he came to the side to ge tout punctured the liner that I had to fix... We have a vinyl pool liner but we have steps which we have taught our dog to use to get out, so we don't have any problems. Our dog wears a dog life jacket for safety and we never leave him in or near the pool unattended.
Cloth, leather, vinyl?
