No - the concentration for medication for dogs is pretty high since most Dog Breeds are not that sensitive to the side effects of pyrethrins. However, rabbits may be much more sensitive, so you would risk serious side effects or even death to use dog flea powder on a rabbit.

Do rabbits have nits?

no but they can get fleas so cheak your rabbit regularly by buying a special flea comb that you can buy in most pet shops for a cheap amount of money and if your rabbit has got fleas then go to a pet shop or local veterinary surgery and buy him/her some drops to put on your rabbits neck and the fleas should all die and you should also buy some spray for your house to kill them in your house if you have had your rabbit in your house .

Could flea spray cause a small dog to shake?

You are not supposted to put flea/ tick medicine on a puppy. If the dog is usually under 6 months to a years of age it should not be put on. It can cause the dog to get sick. If you have a small dog but is older it should not get sick and it shouldn't shake unless it has some alergic reaction to the medicine. I have a small dog and we use flea medicine on him and he is fine and never has fleas.

Can you drown fleas?

No they don't. It's like the pass out and then get up again after a few minutes. I pulled one off my dog when I was giving him a bath and I put the flea in the jar. It looked like it was dead. I went back to finish my dog's bath and when I went back to the jar the flea was moving. I used bleach to kill it.

Do parakeet get along with rabbit?

You shouldn't keep birds and rabbits together. The rabbit is bigger than the small parakeet so the parakeet will think that the rabbit will harm it. The rabbit will think that the bird is invading its territory. Also, rabbits have large ears, if the bird squawks, the rabbit will get irritated. You can put them in separate cages only for a happy rabbit and parakeet!

Does ivory soap kill fleas?

No, it will not- but you can use it though if you, want something to remove flea's easier. It will do that though; so, if you're going to be using it to wash your dogs or ect- use this first and mix it with the flea soap- it will make it so much eaiser on yourself.USE NORMAL FLEA SOAP WOULD BE WISE- BECAUSE IT CAN DRY OUT THE SKIN AND IT WOULD NOT BE FUN FOR YOURSELF OR FOR THEM...This answer is wrong - yes ivory will kill fleas. Give it a try - take a small glass of water and put a few drops of ivory in it - put a live flea in it and it will die almost on contact. It will kill fleas faster than flea soap. Have been using for years - vet recommended for animals with skin allergies. You can also mix about 1 oz to 2 gallons of water and spray your yard - with no worry harming plants or animals.

Can you put baby oil on a rabbit?

No, you can't put baby oil on a rabbit. Anything you put on a rabbit will end up inside the rabbit because rabbits clean themselves by licking themselves. Baby oil is not safe for a rabbit to ingest and can make the rabbit sick. There is no good reason to put baby oil or any kind of oil on a rabbit. If your rabbit is sick, you should bring it to a vet who has experience and knowledge in treating rabbits.
