No, that's a bad idea because they might fight and sometimes,not often though, mother guinea pigs eat anything threatening- horrible. People put rabbits and guinea pigs together but you shouldn't do that either :( hope thet helped
I wouldn't. Where guinea pigs are bigger, their more likely to want all the space. Try and get two cages, one for the guinea pig and one for the hampster. But if you want your guinea pig to meet the hampster.... thens that's a different story.

Another thing is that hamsters are more active then guinea pigs so they tend to run around a lot more but this is not true for all hamsters . guinea pigs on the other hand are mostly not that active but again this is not true for all guinea pigs . but something that is for fact guinea pigs must have another to lie with they can not live alone but with hamsters on the other hand they can live alone but then again that is not really good because if you try to put to hamsters in the same cage your looking for a fight. also if guinea pigs escape they are easier to catch.

(MRS.TYLER22) Well first off i have 4 guinea pigs and 2 hamsters and for play time when i do not feel like letting them run around the room i put the inside of this really large plastic tote that i use to use to put my clothes in (very spacious) all of them and they just play in there together no fighting just playin but i do not allow them to sleep with the guinea pigs remind you that this is just for play time.Every animal is different you might just have to try your animals together on a trial basis because noone can say that they cant play or that they can every animal again is DIFFERENT!!!!

Hamsters will live up to about 3.5 years if you're lucky.7) You can "fix" Guinea Pigs at some vets. It's growing to be more common...but I've never heard of fixing Hamsters (who knows, they might have some places that will)8) They say Guinea Pigs /rarely/ bite. (Mine do =p) but Hamsters have gotten a rep for nipping.9) You can give a Guinea Pig a bath! (Be super careful and look it up first)10) You don't have to cut Hamsters' claws. This is just 10 reasons.
