You could, but it may result in the death of your guppies. Some (most) bettas are extremely territorial and will attack the other fish in the tank with them. Some bettas are okay with being in a tank with others, but the vast majority end up picking off the other fish one by one. Mate them let them have sex a long nice SEX.
it also depends on the size of your tank I have a 40 gal with a male crowntail betta and 4 male guppies and they ignore each other the betta pretty much ignores everyone and does his own thing

∙ 12y agoYes. However, most types of frogs will eat smaller fish and some fish will eat smaller frogs. In a community tank such as with neon tetras, mollies, platies and swordtails, a dwarf African clawed frog would be ideal. However, with larger cichlid a bigger clawed frog (non-dwarf) would be better suited.

∙ 11y agoSo far, no a dragon fish can not be in the same tank as a Betta but i will do research and try to come up with a true explanation.
A dragon fish does a lot better in brackish water that would kill a betta. I have tried to keep many dragons in freshwater and it doesnt work out very well.

∙ 14y agoNO They need totally different conditions. A clawed frog needs a vivarium and a Betta needs a minimum of a filled 3 gallon tank with a heater and filter.

∙ 12y agoCrabs will hurt bettas as well as albino frogs. Try African dwarf frogs and bettas(they are perfect together)!

First of all, how big is the tank? I recommend at least a 10 gallon if you want to house these two fish together. anything smaller, you can forget about the frog already. It should work just until the frog grows to about the same size as the betta. Or even an inch smaller. Clawed frogs are opportunists and will Try to get the betta any chance it gets. You can still try but you will need a backup plan just in case things dont work out. I've tried it and it worked until the frog grew bigger. I wouldnt recommend it if you do not have another cycled tank to put your betta fish in. Well good luck to you and your pets :)

Most of the time they eat this stuff called frog and tadpole bites... that's all i know but they might eat little fish too because i had fish in the tank with my albino frogs and the fish ended up gone so im guessing they ate them......
