it depends on how gentle your hampster is.if it's gentle and not active then i would say yes.but if it is active then the cage would might break and then that would count as a no.
Put a handful of hamster food in the corners of the room. Remember, they are nocturnal!
moderatly quiet
hamsters hate load noise all the time
if its every so often i dont think its that bad
but all the time not good
no i don't think so because hamsters eat their babies
Ya but not in the same cage the chinchilla would eat the poor hamster
Of course.
I wouldn't say that either is better then the other but guinea pigs are more calm. also hamsters are most likely to bite some people say but they only bite if they are scared so if you don't scare them they won't bite simple. but also hamsters are actually lower in price and don't need that much room which is a plus on their side but they are also nocturnal and guinea pigs are awake during the the day and sleep at night. Another thing is that hamsters are more active then guinea pigs so they tend to run around a lot more but this is not true for all hamsters . guinea pigs on the other hand are mostly not that active but again this is not true for all guinea pigs . but something that is for fact guinea pigs must have another to lie with they can not live alone but with hamsters on the other hand they can live alone but then again that is not really good because if you try to put to hamsters in the same cage your looking for a fight. also if guinea pigs escape they are easier to catch.
Guinea Pigs are generally not lazy, they are very social and prefer to interact with thier owners.Ê Guinea Pigs prefer to live in a space where they have room to run and play.Ê
Guinea pigs can be kept at room temperature, I have two of them.
Yes, as long as the plants are out of the guinea pigs reach.
no, guinea pigs need to be kep in a garge or a utility room
They most certainly can, however, you must get both of the animals checked 1 a month for any spreading decease's. Guinea pigs and Rabbit's get on very well. They are known to be the closest in bread. Thanks You.
You should get a guinea pig if you have a family they are good with kids and easy to take care of. Hamsters are fun for you to handle on your own because kids could crush or step on them, but warning they chew on your plastic toobs.
some can be i have one in my room he is really gentel but i have anotheronewho is really skittish so it deppends but rex guinea pigs are the gentlest megan
Yes beccuse it can hurt baby guiniepigs. Infact It can even harm an adult guiniepig!
Yes as long as they are under supervision at ALL times.
Guinea pigs, most likely have their babies during the night. I know that when I had my pregnant guinea pig, I kept her in my room until she had babies. She woke me in the middle of the night with her sounds while giving birth.
Guinea pigs needs to have fresh, room temperature water available at all times.
