If you want to properly keep your mothers wedding dress from getting discolored and ruined, you have to take it to a tailor, dry cleaner or a seamstress at a wedding dress store and have it sealed in a protective (plastic) package. It tends to cost around $100 to get done right. I would highly suggest starting at a place like David's Bridal store and go from there.

Well your brother may be right in that cedar would typically be installed only in a storage closet. Now on the flip side it might be a bit cheaper to build a closet with different wood, but if you want cedar, then build with cedar.
