My ex-girlfriend, in an angry rage, deleted all of my e-mails from my e-mail account in one folder. The folder had her name on it, but also contained all of my school e-mails. This stuff included important projects for school that are now gone. I am failing this semester because of it (impossible to make up). She is costing me 12,000$ in damages due to this act. Is there any possible way to A) Recover e-mails (not in garbage mail, I checked). B) is there something I can do to get retribution for these acts against me? If it helps, it was a Yahoo e-mail account, and she GUESSED the password, not brute-force or some other method of hacking. Only if it is still in your trash folder. Otherwise, it's gone.
