The simplest way is to reformat the hard drive.
But this does not completely remove everything !
This can also cause problems during the installation of a new operating system.
There are boot CD's on the market that will do the same as the following process ( but they can be pricey)
I remove the hard drive and connect it up to another computer.
Then run a disk eraser programm, there are a lot of them available on the web, most are very easy to use.
This overwrites the whole disk which makes it unintelligible.
Replace the hard drive in the original computer and you are ready to install a new operating system.

1. Go to Programs and Features.
2. On the left of the window, click View installed updates.
3. Under the Microsoft Windows section, right-click Windows Internet Explorer 9, and click Uninstall.
4. When prompted, click yes.
5. Restart.

∙ 12y agoWindows XP is an operating system, it launches all other programs and communicates with hardware. Internet Explorer is a web browser, it communicates with and displays websites. They are totally different things.
If your question is if it is possible to go to an older version of Internet Explorer, it is possible to go down to version 8 or 7. But it is not a good idea, newer versions of browsers have more security features which makes them safer to use.
