Can you replace a 1998 Oldsmobile intrigue 3.8 liter v6 engine with an Oldsmobile alero 3.4 liter v6 engine if not what can you replace the intrigues engine with?

A 3.8 of the same series from any GM Division. 3.4 do not share the same
bolt pattern.
3.5 Intrigue engines are only in certain Intrigues and Auroras, and do
not share the bolt battern with 3.8s. But this comes from someone who has put a 455 Toro in the rear of an S10, and a W-41 in a Fiero. Anything goes in anything if you are creative. :)
