The 2002 General Motors/Oldsmobile Intrigue came standard equipment with the 3.5L V6. This vehicle is a front wheel drive application with a transverse mounted engine. The sparks plugs are in the cylinder heads, with plugs facing the front and the other three facing the firewall. The OEM AC Delco Professional Iridium spark plugs are part #41993.

I recommend you use AC/Delco. They are excellent plugs and are OEM. Any auto parts store can tell you which A/C Delco plugs to install.

they are under the coil packs which are in the top of the valve cover, unplug the coil packs, take out six bolts, the wires should come out with the coil packs and you will have access to the plugs.

Bust your knuckles with the use of a mirror to see the plugs and a magnet to pick them up when they drop under the engine block!

The spark plugs are on the front and back of a V6 (back ones are tough to get to) L4 right in front. Turn the engine off and take off the spark wires unscrew the plugs

Unless it has a diesel engine, yes it has points (could be electronic) and spark plugs.

On the side of the engine block. They are actually casting plugs.

Take the engine cover off, and there are three plugs in the front of the engine and three in the back. They are not that difficult to get to. The hardest part can be getting the boots off - be careful not to rip them or you will have to replace the wires as well.

1999olds have coil packs remove cover and pack on top of engine plugs should be right there no wire only thing need is boot replacements for the pack if needed

to change the spark plugs...they have a special tool you by and you pull the wires off then you stick the tool down inside and you unscrew them and the install the others! on this vehicle you have to remove the coil pack on the back of the engine to get to the rear plugs to do this take the four bolts off the coil pack and simply move it out of the way to access the plugs

I am going to assume that You have the 3.5L Intrigue engine. If not, ignore this. Remove the plastic coil cover from the middle of each valve cover. Remove the coils. Unscrew and remove the spark plugs. Installation is the reverse.... I was drunk when I wrote that. If you have wires, you have three coils and not six and you've actually got wires. To remove one end of a wire, first twist, then pull. If it won't twist, use spray silicone lubricant. You may have a large plastic beauty cover over the top of your engine. If it's in the way, remove the four nuts and the cover.
