Yes it is possible. The difference is the tires you are replacing are bigger than the one you want to put on but not by much.
The correct size for tires for the 2003 base model Chevy Trailblazer with 17-inch rims is P245/65R17 105S. The correct size for the base Trailblazer with the 16-inch rims is P245/70R16 106S, and the correct size for the 2003 Trailblazer EXT with 17-inch rims is P245/65R17 105S.
