Hi there,I am actuallly British and I also had a Fiance from a foreign country whom I was engaged and he informed me married an American he has also only known two weeks,He spoke openly about how he has realives who would enable him to marry an American for convienience and pay buy the lasy who married him something for the arrangement.I contacted the INS in the states, the US Embassy in my country and the US consulates in his country to infrom them that it seemed very likely that it was marriage fraud. If course, in both our case we have no proof so you have to state clealy that it is suspected. I don't know if the authoriites will take any notice or action but it is worth your while at least contacting your local INS centre (you can find it on the website) and writing them a letter or calling them about your concerns,Unfortunately it is sad that it seems so much marriage for citizenship goes on and I think it is tragci because some people, like myself, atualy loved that perosn regardless of their nationality and I am british!
