Can you safely tow a 1999 Acura Integra manual transmission behind an RV I know that even some manual transmissions have issues when being towed long distances or at high speeds Thanks?

According to the experts, you can tow any front wheel drive manual transmission vehicle as far as you want and as long as you want. However, the best way to make sure a vehicle is suited to flat towing is to check the owner's manual.

The stock 5L Caprice comes with a 700r4 transmission so no upgrade would be needed. VBdenny **funny, cuz mine doesnt. 4L60 and i think its pretty WEAK! It's got to go to Ford. The Ford F-250 and F-350 had a 5-speed manual transmission, and it was tough as h*ll! You can find those transmissions in the 7.3L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel V8 of the late 90's. I had one, and I let my teenage son drive it, and he was terrible with a manual. Yes it will bolt up to it, but you will need a TCU ( Transmission Control Unit ) which is about a $730 part so that the transmission can shift right. Thanks -N
