Telescope will likely work, real, don't just believe, test yourself, no curvature. The lie will die, the matrix of many government agencies will fall, nothing will stop it. Still good people who can do real science, not fake google

Someone answered, "Yes you can actually i ve seen it"

No, you did not. Cuba is roughly 143 miles from Cozumel, which means, at that distance, it is well over the curvature of the earth. Assuming you were on the third floor of a hotel on Cozumel, the only thing you'd be able to see on Cuba would be the very, very top of a bulding that would have to be just under two MILES high.

"on a very clear day when the sun goes down you can see the shadow of the island"

That doesn't even make sense, given that Cuba is northEAST of Cozumel (the sun sets in a westerly direction).

Take a look aty Google Earth, and see how close Jamaica is to Cuba. You can't see Cuba from Jamaica, either; it's too far away, and therefore, over the curvature of the earth.

Key West, Florida is the closest land point to Cuba but due to the curvature of the earth you can not see Cuba.
