Knights ought to fight monsters! Not St.George but Sir Edmund Hillary, the renowned Mountaineer-knighted for his Everest exploits, did take an interest in the subject and it was claimed his Sherpa guide- Tenzing Norgay- known to the press as (Tiger Tenzing) had relatives who had seen Yetis, or similar creatures, Hillary later retreated from the whole Monster angle, and never personally having seen one, retracted his original optimistic angle of pursuit.l The possibility that the creature may be a Bear(as with Sasquatch) cannoit be wholly denied. Sir Edmund never saw a yeti, but Tenzing may have. see the works of Heuvelmans (on the track of unknown animals).
